Latvian Institute of Aquatic Ecology
We are an agency of Daugavpils University, a scientific institute that works on research regarding the Baltic Sea, freshwater ecosystems and ecology related fundamental and practical challenges. Our work is mainly oriented towards the Riga Gulf and latvian part of the Baltic Sea, where we are responsible for conducting marine monitoring. We work also with freshwater ecosystem quality and processes.
