wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LHEI researchers Evita Strode and Ieva B\u0101rda participated in SGEFF meeting held in Vilnius<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On October 1-2, 2024 LHEI researchers <strong>Evita Strode<\/strong> and <strong>Ieva B\u0101rda<\/strong> together with partners from project <strong>&#8220;Detect2Protect&#8221;<\/strong> (LZP Agreement No. ES RTD\/2023\/26) participated in the meeting of the <strong>Study Group on developing new guidelines for the monitoring of biological effects of contaminants<\/strong> (SGEFF) held in Vilnius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Researchers from OSPAR and HELCOM region, working in the scientific field of biological effects of pollutants, discussed the development of new guidelines for monitoring the biological effects of pollutants in marine organisms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A group of researchers was established to jointly develop and advance unified methods of biological effects to be implemented in monitoring programs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column p-con-right is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex
