As part of the MEDWwater project, scientists have detected the presence of various pharmaceutically active substances not only in our wastewater, but also in rivers and the sea. In particular, active substances found in painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen, diclofenac and paracetamol are prevalent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
