Last year we visited lakes in <strong>Latvia<\/strong>, <strong>Lithuania<\/strong> and <strong>Poland<\/strong>, where we collected samples in the water surface and sediments to assess the presence of microplastics. We compared pollution in lakes with a large pressure from tourism and in lakes that are not visited as much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Soon there will also be an educational poster near one of the lakes considered in the project in Gulbene &#8211; lake St\u0101merienas &#8211; which is being created in cooperation with our project partner <strong>Gulbene
