Latvian Institute of Aquatic Ecology is participating in the Sea Festival on Liepāja beach by presenting a diverse program on marine fauna research. Visitors were given the opportunity to learn about the fate of plastics in the environment, get acquainted with and try out methods of collecting, processing, and analysing microplastic samples and to engage in discussions on issues related to plastic pollution.

Latvian Institute of Aquatic Ecology joined “Shadow day” 2022 – a day when school students can follow a professional and learn about their work.
