Opening of the exhibition “Stories from the Sea” in Kolka
On Thursday, October 24 at 3PM, celebrating the 140th anniversary of the Kolka lighthouse, union “Domesnes” in cooperation with the National Cultural Heritage Board, Underwater Cultural and Historical Heritage Association and Kolka Livonian community house organize a seminar and opens the exhibition “Stories from the Sea”.
At the seminar several lecturers will present underwater heritage research in Latvia, and LHEI Senior Researcher Solvita Strāķe will talk about the identification and preservation of underwater reefs and shipwrecks in the Baltic Sea.
