First habitat surveys in the framework of Life REEF project have been successfully completed on 3-7 June. Life REEF LIAE team conducted surveys with the Klaipeda University sailing vessel Brabander of deep shoals in the Latvian EEZ – by filming, diving and direct observation – in the project “Marine Protected Habitats Survey and Determination of Required Conservation Status in the Exclusive Economic Zone of Latvia” or LifeREEF. The good weather conditions were a great help for the successful execution of the work plan!
