Closing of BEACON project

Interreg BSR project BEACON was successfully concluded with the final stakeholder meeting on November 26, which was attended by 70 participants from 7 Baltic Sea region countries. At the meeting LHEI researcher Ieva Bārda gave a presentation on biological effects methods, and the participants were also informed about other project results and deliverables: results of the stakeholder survey (Kari K. Lehtonen, SYKE), the developed integrated tool – iBEC methods for integrated chemical for pollution and biological effects monitoring in the Baltic Sea (Jeļena Gorokhova, Stockholm University), recommendations and guidelines for the development of biological effects monitoring (Natalja Kolesova, TalTech).
