With the help of an online survey, it was established that about 60% of farmers had not heard of gypsum treatment as a method for soil improvement. On the other hand, more than 70% of the respondents expressed their willingness to experiment with gypsum in their agricultural lands. Farmers emphasized that there is a great need for scientific research and educational events, such as seminars and workshops, to showcase the method and support farmers in implementing it in Latvia.
