LHEI 30th anniversary events
Starting in February each month in 2025 we will highlight a key event or activity that we pay special attention to
- In February, we took on the challenge to be active – using an application on our phones, we followed each other’s adventures and at the end of the month we had completed 362 activities, dedicating 341 hours to them and we reached a total distance of 1,421.98 km by walking, running, swimming, skiing, skating or cycling!
- In March, we will participate in the 83rd International Scientific Conference of the University of Latvia. On March 20, in the Biology subsection we will introduce institute’s research topics. The event program is available here. The event is organized in cooperation with project “LIFE GoodWater IP” led by Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center.
- In April, LHEI will present current research topics at the 67th International Scientific Conference of Daugavpils University. More information here.
- May – more information will follow.
- In June, we will be at the conversation festival “Lampa”, where we will host various events and discussions about aquatic research in our tent. More information will follow.
