Pētniece, Jūras monitoringa nodaļa, Hidroķīmijas laboratorija

  • Galvenā darbības joma ir jūras krastu dinamika, piekrastes procesi, garkrasta sanešu plūsma un viļņu ietekme uz krasta zonu. Specializācija ir vides inženierzinātnē, un pētniecības darbs ir saistīts ar piekrastes procesu dinamikas izpēti. Īpaši interesē krastu izmaiņu dinamika, viļņu ietekme uz piekrastes procesiem, garkrasta sanešu plūsmas dinamika, kā arī klimata pārmaiņu ietekme uz piekrastes procesiem
  • Papildus tam nodarbojas ar telpisko datu analīzi un kartogrāfiskā materiāla sagatavošanu. Tas ietver datu apstrādi un sagatavošanu datubāzēm, lai nodrošinātu precīzus un uzticamus datus turpmākiem pētījumiem un analīzēm. Viņas darbs ietver arī telpisko datu integrēšanu un vizualizāciju, kas ir būtisks elements vides izpētē un plānošanā
  • Lielu nozīmi piešķir arī zinātnes popularizēšanai, cenšoties padarīt piekrastes procesu pētījumus pieejamus un saprotamus plašākai sabiedrībai. Viņa aktīvi darbojas zinātnes komunikācijā, lai veicinātu sabiedrības izpratni par vides jautājumiem un klimata pārmaiņu ietekmi uz piekrastes ekosistēmām
