Here you can watch project LIFE REEF videos about the coastal and marine habitats in Latvia (in Latvian). In cooperation with project partners, presentations on sandbanks, ecosystem services and conservation plans were prepared.
The videos show how LIAE scientists map the seabed and what plant and animal species are found off the coast of Latvia. It is important to understand the biodiversity of the Baltic Sea and how it is affected by the introduction of non-indigenous species.
